As many of you read one of the main bridges over I-5 Burlington/Mt. Vernon collapsed last night, May, 23, 2013. Thankfully no one was killed. If you are coming from the North you can exit in Burlington and follow the signs to LaConner. If you’re coming from the South you can exit at Conway and follow the signs through Fir Island to LaConner, this is a beautiful scenic drive into LaConner. We have new product arriving daily. 2012 Steiff Sommer Festival information and 2012 Fall release date.
For those of you who are club members you know Steiff is celebrating their 20th Club Anniversary with a special tour of Germany and Switzerland culminating at the Steiff Sommer Festival where we get to make our own Steiff bear (yes it is Sommer not Summer)July 6 & 7. This will be my first of hopefully many events to come. I already have some special German exclusives that I will be shipping home, hopefully with other special pieces. If you are interested please contact the store, (I’m going to try and post the picture but I’m still learning how to do this so Will, my web designer may have to do it for me or if you can go to my FB site you can see the piece.) There will be many pictures to view upon my return. The 2012 Fall line will be released July 2nd, be sure to look at these wonderful pieces, several have already sold out with Steiff, my order has been placed, be sure too get your name on the list when you see the pictures.You’ll want to see what is next to come with Dorothy, the 2012 Swarovski piece is fabulous as are several piece in the fall line. I was fortunate enough to see them in person with
a handful of dealers at the Titanic Event. For those of you who came to our Trunk show thank you, it was a lot of fun. The Fall Event is Oct. 27th, 2012 and I’m hoping to make a very exciting announcement soon. You won’t want to miss this event, surprises await.

Everything looks great, had dinner with others including Chuck & Cathy Steffes, Cathy’s sister, Chucks daughter and family and Dick Franz. Sale room opens Friday until 4, none can come. Did my damage tonight and haven’t been to their Store in Galax, VA, where all the older bears are. Their old ones (50+) years look like new. Has one I’d love to find.
